New Parkiteer Cage to Boost Bike Parking at Greensborough Station
It’s now easier than ever to ride to Greensborough Station and catch the train with a new Parkiteer bike cage now open.
The new cage provides 26 extra spaces for cyclists to park their bike safely and securely before jumping on the train, making it easier to leave the car at home, get some exercise and live more sustainably.
Use of Parkiteer bike cages has tripled over the last 5 years, with more than 9,000 people now registered with Parkiteer facilities across Victoria. The new cage at Greensborough will see this number grow even further.
The new cage was jointly funded by the Andrews Labor Government and Banyule Council, and is managed by Bicycle Network Victoria.
Use of the cage is free, other than a $50 fully refundable bond for the access card.
To register for a secure access card for the bike cage at Greensborough Station, or find your nearest Parkiteer facility, go to parkiteer.com.au or call 1300 546 526.
