Stage 1 of Greensborough College Rebuild Nearly Complete!
At the last election the Victorian Government committed $10 million of funding for the first stage of the Greensborough College rebuild. The Government has delivered on this promise and construction at the school began last year.
Stage 1 of the project includes a new sports hall and senior school with state-of-the-art facilities. This funding will also repurpose the old gymnasium into a new specialist centre, deliver great visual art and performing arts spaces alongside new canteen and home economics facilities. Some of these buildings have already been complete, with the rest of the project due to be finished within months.
Recently, I visited the school to check the progress of construction works with students and Principal Pauline Barker. It was really fantastic to see students enjoying the newly completed sports hall and some of the completed classrooms.
I can’t wait to see the school when the whole project has been completed!
