At the last State Election, Labor committed to fund $10 million towards the rebuild Greensborough College.

In the 2016-17 Victorian Budget, we have fully delivered on this promise.

The last budget saw the school receive $1 million to begin the necessary planning and early works. This budget has funded the remaining $9 million.

This funding is on top of the $1.1 million increase in targeted equity funding received by schools across the Bundoora electorate, making sure all students get better support.

Increasing enrolments at Greensborough College have led to extra strain on the existing facilities, which have become dated and worn out. The previous state government refused to fund this much needed rebuild, despite the demonstrated need.
